Open Role: Field Service Technician

Roberts Plumbing Hydro Jet & Rooter is currently accepting applications for field service technicians. Positions are available for part-time and full-time schedules, depending on availability and experience.

Core Duties and Service Work

Technicians are responsible for performing a range of sewer, drain, and plumbing-related services, including:

  • Sewer drain and culvert hydro jetting
  • Sewer and drain pipe coating
  • Gas pipe installation and repair
  • Sewer and drain smoke testing
  • Sewer and drain replacement
  • Trenchless sewer repair
  • Trenchless sewer pipe replacement
  • Tank and tankless water heater service
  • Sewer and drain video camera inspections
  • Water pressure regulator and thermal expansion tank work

Required Qualifications for Applicants

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Physical ability to lift and handle machinery
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to pass a background check

What the Workday Typically Looks Like

Daily work at Roberts Plumbing Hydro Jet & Rooter involves residential plumbing repair and replacement. Technicians are expected to perform trenchless sewer pipe repair, standard sewer replacement, hydro jetting, drain pipe coating, and other common rooter-related services.

Hours:
Monday- Friday: 6:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M.
Saturday: 7:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.
Sunday: 7:00 A.M.- 3:30 P.M.
