That being said the trenchless pipe bursting process does not require a trench. The plumbing contractor does not need to expose the sewer pipes in order to replace them. Instead a small access point is made at each end of the sewer pipeline. A technologically advanced machine uses the access points to push, pull, or blow a continuous, one-piece, plastic PVC pipe through the broken sewer pipes. As the new one is being inserted the old sewer pipeline bursts in an outward motion.
The shattered pieces are naturally distributed into the ground where they are left to harmlessly rot away. Once the application is finished the brand new plastic PVC completely takes the place of the old and broken sewer pipeline. As a bonus it will last for well over one hundred years. The entire trenchless pipe bursting process can take as little as one day to complete from start to finish compared to the multiple weeks that it takes to finish the traditional excavation method. It is approximately half the price as well.
